Foodie friends! This is THE event for you. At this event you will learn all about olive oil AND enjoy a sampling of delicious oils! Could there be a better combo?! What was that? Did you say "wine"? We gotcha covered ;)
Our in-house expert, Katie Bishop, will cover the basics of what Extra Virgin Olive Oil is, how to properly taste / grade olive oil as they do on official sensory panels, how to recognize and describe the flavor characteristics in olive oil, and how best to use and pair olive oil at home! At the end of the course you will bring home a 250mL bottle of olive oil! Tickets also include a glass of wine*.

Joining Sonoma Harvest in 2015, Katie Bishop is part of our research and development team, creating new and exciting recipes following current food trends as well as trusted staples. She is also a member of The Applied Sensory Olive Oil Panel where she has undergone extensive training in olive oil sensory evaluation and participates in screening olive oils from all over the world for certification. With her background in food & nutrition, Katie is a wealth of knowledge and eager to share and inspire chefs and foodies alike.
